Alexa grew up in Jupiter, Florida and attended Florida State University for both her undergraduate and juris doctorate degrees. She graduated cum laude with a double major in political science and international affairs in 2016. In her second year of law school Alexa became a certified legal intern thereby allowing her to represent the indigent population of Quincy, Florida.
This experience ignited her passion for criminal defense. She went on to graduate cum laude in December of 2018 and began her career as an Assistant Public Defender in Orlando, Florida in 2019. Since then Alexa’s passion for criminal defense has only grown. During her time as a Public Defender she was able to effectively represent hundreds of clients from the beginning to the end of their cases, which ranged in seriousness from criminal traffic to felony charges. Alexa is excited to continue to carry on representing people from all walks of life who are charged with criminal offenses and provide them with the highest quality of representation.
When she is not in the court room, Alexa enjoys adventuring with her dog and visiting her family in Jupiter. She also is an avid theme park goer and lover of travel.
